for Martha
Aug. 27th, 2011 06:48 pmGwen's probably one of the few people in her home country that prefers coffee to tea but there you have it and that's what's brought her up to the Compound kitchen bright and early. She's gotten good at brewing it, even if she usually just bought it back home, and she's almost figured out how to best approximate one of those fancy coffee drinks they sold for four and five quid back home. Almost.
She hears someone else come into the kitchen while she's tipping goat's milk into the cup and swirling it around to get the perfect color and she calls out a greeting even though she doesn't turn around.
"Coffee, tea, mango juice? Might as well make a career out of it."
